Rockingham County Public Schools    
Living in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Rockingham County students attend 15 elementary, 4 middle, 4 high schools, a governor's school, a technical center, and an alternative education center. The student enrollment of over 11,600 students is supported by nearly 2,000 full-time employees.

Dual Language Program in Harrisonburg City Public Schools
Dual Language is a program to develop bilingualism and biliteracy in English and Spanish. In Harrisonburg, we have a 50/50 ‘two-way’ immersion program: 50% of the day is spent studying in Spanish and 50% in English. Students learn to read, write, speak and listen in two languages.

A 2019 Association for Learning Environments Project of Distinction, Harrisonburg City Public Schools’ Bluestone Elementary School has received the top Livable Buildings Award from UC Berkeley’s Center for the Built Environment (CBE).
