Interprofessional education is now required by many accrediting bodies for the departments in the College of Health and Behavioral Studies.  Representatives from 24 professional accrediting organizations came together to provide guidance for the development and implementation of high-quality IPE experiences.  Working with the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education, this group created Guidance on Developing Quality Interprofessional Education (2019) which serves to support efforts across multiple professions to successfully meet their accreditation requirements and prepare their students with the skills needed for collaborative practice in healthcare and beyond.
